Third Straight Tournament Win - Major Midget AA Team are Champions of the Riverside Rangers Minor Hockey Association’s 59th Annual Bantam Midget Tournament.
The Major Midget AA team won its third straight tournament in Windsor on December 30th the Riverside Rangers Minor Hockey Association’s 59th Annual Bantam Midget Tournament!

The team finished second in round robin play after losing to Tecumseh TNT Tornados -  3 to 1.  In semi-final action the team dominated the Riverside Rangers beating them 5 to 0.  Daniel Bosomworth was credited with the only shut out of the tournament in that game!  The Wolves had a chance at redemption in the finals when they played the TNT Tornados again. Brock Krulicki picked up a pass from Carson Wickie early in the second period and took full advantage of the breakaway finishing with a goal to make it 1 to 0.  TNT evened it up soon after that.  Krulicki swatted another goal in from both Wickie and Travis Baker to take the lead once again.  Still in the 2nd period, from Aidan Brady, Cooper Schultz advanced the lead making it 3 to 1. The team played a strong defensive third period, but Schultz managed to score another goal from Cole Chipman making it a 4 to 1 final, another tournament win!!  Shout out to Max Parrott for standing on his head in the final game. Great effort by all players who contributed everything they had to the tournament win throughout the weekend and in the final!!  Coach Yantz said about the entire team “that’s one great group of lads”.  Congratulations to the Major Midget AA Team on another solid tournament!
