White Wolves take first game in Final Series
The Minor Peewee MD Waterloo White Wolves took the first game in the Final Series against Waterloo Black at Moses Springer last night...

The Final Series of the East/Central MD Minor Peewee Division started out with a bang as the two Waterloo teams went head to head in game 1 at Moses Springer. Already with a berth into the Alliance Championships both Waterloo teams were looking for another reason to celebrate on Tuesday night.  It was a tough battle with several chances for both of these hard working teams.

It wasn't until James Stuebing grinded out a goal with linemates Ryan Class and Connor Scida late in the first that the puck found the back of the net. The goal stood as the only score and the White Wolves took the series lead with a 1-0 victory.  Gage Usiski made several key saves to finish with his second shutout in as many games.

The series is still up for grabs however as game two is set for tomorrow night at RIM (Pillers) at 6:00pm.  Pre-game at The Benchwarmer for all fans.  Come and out and support your favourite Waterloo team!
