London Knights Green Defeat Wolves 4-1
On Saturday Nov 7th the Waterloo Wolves traveled to London to take on the Knights Green team at Nichols Arena.
The Knights got the first goal of the game with a shot from the high slot at 11:08. This ended the period at 1-0 Knights. Total shots of the period were 10 Waterloo - 8 Knights.
In the 2nd period the Wolves were forced to kill a penalty at 5:02. The Knights scored on the Power Play when a puck was passed through the crease for a back door tap in. This ended the period at 2-0 Knights. Total shots on net were 3 Wolves - 6 Knights in the period.
In the 3rd period the Wolves scored first when Bryce Patterson let a shot off from the right point sneaking in low. This brought the game close @ 2-1 with 13 minutes remaining. Unfortunately London scored the next goal from behind the net banking off the goalies skate and into the back of the net. London scored the final goal with an empty netter from their own zone to finalize the game at 4-1. Shots in the 3rd period were 9-9.
Total Shots in the game were 22 Wolves - 23 Knights.
The Wolves will look to bounce back versus Brantford on Nov 11th at the Gretzky Center.
