I already know some of you and I look forward to meeting the whole group on Saturday.
Housed Keeping – please read:
WMH only gives us one email per player – if there are more than one email address I need for your player, please forward additional email addresses to me and I will add them to our group.
I would also like a team manager and a team trainer (this will secure your position on this team for sure)
The manager will need to have some organizational and computer skills and be at most of the games.
The trainer will involve some on line training and a police check and being behind the bench during games.
(We already have one certified trainer but he will miss games and practises due to other family commitments)
Please let me know if you are interested
Please Note:
The boys are getting older now so I want to be respectful of privacy in the dressing room.
Please, no Mom’s or sisters in the room 30 min or less from game time. I know this sounds sexist but the boys appreciate it.
Finally, Skates…
It is not unusual for a player to show up a little late and their parents are in the room tying their skates while I am talking to the team. Or worse they ask me to tie the skates will I am pepping up the team.
As a coach I find it very disruptive to the team dynamic.
The boys are 12 years old turning 13 next year…
Every boy will tie their own skates for every game and practice starting this Saturday.– if they are not tight enough, I will help them get their own skates tighter.
Their hands will toughen up over the first few games and by November it will be no problem.
Thanks for reading this entire email
I am looking forward to Saturday and meeting everybody
