First off, thanks to all the parents for getting the players to Georgetown in good time tonight. We do try to avoid out of town games on week nights, but still end up with a couple each year.
Great team effort tonight to come from behind to tie the game. We were a little rocky in the first, falling behind 3-0 but the whole team settled down, picked up our pace and adjusted to the smaller rink. Tonight I want to call out the effort of Tim, Cameron and Isaac who all managed to pick up their first points - goals or assists - in their first Select game.
Halton Hills is one of several mixed age (Major/Minor) Bantam teams that we will play this year. While the age gap is getting to be a bit less of an issue, playing against teams with several players who are a year older is going to be a good challenge for us.
