Pretty Good Effort Against Burlington
First and foremost a big Thank You to Burlington for making a game out of it last night even with the mix up on the time. Not sure where the game time got mixed up, but it turned out to be a pretty good game even though it was a bit short.
Overall I was pretty happy with the way we played last night. Our shifts were a good length, we are getting to be much more consistent in getting the puck out of our end and we made good use of the dump-and-change on our penalty kills.
As always there are a few things to work on too. Our breakouts have room to improve - we're getting the puck out but we can do a better job of making playable passes. We were also scrambling around in our end at times - getting the wingers to stay higher in our zone to better cover the other teams D will help to settle that down.
