Hello team, I thought I would check in and update you on a few things
We have a game this weekend on Sunday at 8:30 against Orange. Connor and I won't be there as we will be on a beach in the Dominican Republic. In my absence, Dave Keffer will be running the bench. If you are not going to be there on Sunday, please send Dave an email at

We also have an early practice next Saturday and another game on Sunday. Dave will continue to run the team as I will still be on the beach. Please let him no if you won't be able to attend either of these times.
I hope you are all doing well on your 1000 shot challenge this week. Calin G. is currently in the lead with 2,250 shots so far. I'm hoping that everybody has a significant number to add to their total this week. Dave will ask you for your weekly totals and will send them to me. Keep up the good work on this!
We have a Christmas tournament from Dec 27th to Monday Dec 30th. I know every family has a lot of commitments during that week (as well as work!) so please let me know which days you won't be able to make it. We are scheduled to play:
Friday Dec 27th: 11:00am at Pillers (RIM Park)
Saturday Dec 28th: 9:00 at Pillers
Sunday Dec 29th: 10:00 at Pillers
Monday Dec 30th: 9:00 at Pillers (If we make it to the semi-finals)
Monday Dec 30th: 4:30pm at Lions (RIM Park) (If we make it to the finals)
There is also a 3-on-3 tournament this year on Tuesday Dec 31st for all of the players. The details are still being worked out. Please keep checking the league homepage for details and let us know if you intend to play or not.
I won't be seeing most of you before Christmas so I'd like to extend my best wishes to all of you. I hope you get to spend lots of time with your friends and family and have the happiest of Holidays.
