Coming into the home stretch...
Well boys, we're finally coming down to the home stretch.
We have our final practice and game this weekend before the tournaments start.
We have our final practice tomorrow morning (Saturday, 8:00am at Waterloo Rec Centre) and we are sharing the ice with Orange.
Our final game will be early on Sunday at 7:30am against Teal at AMCW.
After that game, we will be able to determine where we are seeded and figure out the first tournament schedule. We are guaranteed to be in Division B but that's all we know for now.
We will have 1 game on Friday, March 21st at 5:00pm or 6:00pm at Moses
The second game will be on Saturday, March 22nd at 7:30am or 8:00am at RIM.
The third game will also be on Saturday, March 22nd at 3:00pm at RIM.
Our final game of the tournament will be Sunday, March 23rd at RIM. The time will depend on the prior games results.
We are also entered into the Waterloo Fun Festival on March 28-30th
We will have our first game on Friday, March 28th at 4:00pm against the Black team
We then play on Saturday, March 29th at 11:30 against Oak Ridge #3
Our third game is also on Saturday, March 29th at 6:30pm against the Woolwich Wildcats (they stole our name!!)
I have no idea how the playoffs work for this tournament, but plan on a game on Sunday. All games for this tournament are at RIM.
The cost of the Waterloo Fun Festival is $500 per team. From your responses, we will have 12 players for this tournament which works out to $41.50 per player. If possible, please bring a cheque this weekend for that amount.
See you at the rink (Waterloo Rec Centre) tomorrow morning. It'll be interesting to see who goes to AMCW (DAVE!)
