On February
2, the Ice Wolves made the trip to Pat Quinn arena in Parkdale.
It was a chippy affair and the referees were kept busy, handing out 46 combined penalty minutes in the match. With half the game in the books, Waterloo was down by a score of 3-0. A goalie change seemed to wake up the team and in the third they mounted a comeback.
At 13:03 Riley H. broke the goose egg on a feed from Mitch C. and Will C. Matt S. closed the gap to a single score at 6:35 on a pass from Will C., counting his second helper of the evening. In the final minute of play, Waterloo pulled the netminder in a desperate effort to draw even. Unfortunately it was not enough to deny Hamilton a hard fought victory.
