February 1 vs. Kitchener Rangers Blue

Saturday night Waterloo hosted the Kitchener Rangers Blue squad on the Pillers
pad at RIM Park
With many chances at both ends, for 2 periods the game was a goaltending duel. Kitchener was able to jam home a rebound to open the scoring three minutes into the third. Just over a minute later the Ice Wolves responded. Mitch C. Sniped a laser shot to the top corner after a pretty feed to the slot from Michael B., who was in turn fed the puck by Braydin F.
At 6:32 of the third, Cole S. walked into the slot and executed a beautiful tic-tac-toe give and go with Will H. to put the black and yellow up by one. Will H. hit pay dirt, with Cole S. the primary playmaker, while Braydin H. registered his second helper of the night on the play. With 1:51 left to play, Waterloo iced the game as Jack M. bent the twine after pretty setup from Matt S. Michael B. added an assist to his point total on the play.
Goaltender Zach W. had an outstanding outing and had to be the monster of the game, allowing a single goal on over 30 shots.
