Waterloo Hands Kitchener its First Season Loss
The Waterloo Minor Atom AAA team, were a
team on a mission and were not going to be denied in the battle of
Kitchener-Waterloo over the weekend.
Well rested from the day off on Saturday the boys came out flying on Sunday
putting in a balanced team effort, out-shooting and outscoring their opponents by a score of 3-1, giving
Kitchener their first regular season loss.
Goaltender, Mischa Stastna was stellar in net making key saves when
needed. Goal scorers were Cooper
Way, Jaxson Murray and Spencer Young with assists
going to Jake Thompson, Ryan McGeown and Jaxson Murray. Following their game the team enjoyed a fun,
team experience by being the feature team at the Waterloo Siskins game.
