Split Weekend
The Waterloo Wolves AAA Minor Atoms had a bounce back game on Sunday
after falling 4-1 to the Huron Perth Lakers on Saturday and suffering
their first regular season loss.
Kyle Maloney was the lone goal scorer
while Cooper Way collected an assist.
On Sunday, the Wolves came out skating and were rewarded with a hard
fought 4-2 victory against the first place West Division Elgin Middlesex
Chiefs. The line of Owen Parsons, Jaxson Murray and Jacob Thompson had a
stellar game scoring all 4 goals
in the victory. Jacob Thompson lead the way with 2 goals and 2 assists
while Jaxson Murray and Owen Parsons each had 1 goal and 3 assists.
Marshall Nicholls was also very strong throughout the game but
especially in the third when the Chiefs tried
in vain to mount a comeback.
