Roster
Spots
Roster
spots on the 2025-2026 U11BB Wolves Team will be offered in alignment with OHF
Direction. As such, roster spots can be
offered starting as early as 12:01am on May 03, 2025. Roster offers will
continue throughout the tryout process until all 17 player positions are filled
(9 forwards, 6 defense, 2 goalies).
NOTE: The parents/guardians of
players being offered roster spots will receive an email link from Coach Scott
Leatherdale using the email address provided in the WMHA Registration. In
addition, players may also be verbally informed from the coaching staff that
they will be receiving a roster offer. Acceptance of the offer is required
within 24 hours of receipt of the email from Head Coach Scott Leatherdale. If you are expecting a roster offer for your player, please check your email junk folders to make sure a roster offer email is not
being overlooked.
For Parents
Come to
tryouts with a positive attitude and encouraging support for your player. BB hockey
is focused on player development, so the coaching staff has very specific position
and player characteristics we are looking for in creating a final roster. While
skill is important, it is not the only determining factor in our evaluations. If
a parent is requesting feedback on their player who is released, please make
your request via email after tryouts are completed (May 10, 2025). All other
communication with the coaching/evaluation staff prior to May 10 may be
overlooked.
For Players
Be ready to
try your best, listen to the on-ice helpers and bench coaches, and make sure to
have fun showcasing your skills.
Cheers
Coach Scott
