Important Info:
· All players must be pre-registered
through WMHA for the U16 BB Tryout.
Monday
May 8th please arrive 45 minutes prior
to ice time to register and pick up pinnies at the sign in desk.
There
is no specific dress code for these tryouts, but please dress appropriately.
We will be leveraging volunteers
to run the first on ice tryout and during the sessions the players will be
evaluated on their:
Positive
and respectful attitude on and off the ice
Team
work
Effort
Hockey
skills
Following each tryout:
First releases will not happen until after the Wednesday May
10th tryout game and
should be posted by Wednesday May 10th at 10pm.
Last names of Players that are invited to continue in the BB tryout process will be posted
on our team website
We will also use the website to
communicate pertinent tryout information. Please check the website throughout
the tryout process as times and locations might change.
Final roster (17) selections will be posted during the evening of Friday May 12.
Those players whose names
do not appear on the final team roster are welcome to contact the coach (after May
17th) to arrange a time to discuss any feedback.
Medical:
If your
athlete has a known pre-existing medical condition, and to ensure their utmost
safety, we ask that you advise the coaching staff of the condition before the
tryout sessions begin.
Tournaments:
The U16 BB/B Wolves team will be
registering in 3 tournaments. No tournaments will be scheduled over the Holiday
Break.

London > Nov 17-19, 2023 (to be confirmed)

Team Costs / Player: approx. $1700.00

Waterloo
U16 Hockey Rep Fee: $ 750.00 (this was the ‘22/’23 fee)

Team
Budget (Draft) per player: $ 950.00 ($200 first payment will be due June 1, 2023)
Over
the spring and summer we
might do some activities (on and off ice) to build on the relationships between
the players and skills. These will not be mandatory as we do not want to impact
any vacations and other activities.
