We're off to our first tournament!
This upcoming weekend will see us off to our first tournament: the Nazem Kadri North London Classic (MD/HL). The boys are pumped.
Every game we've been showing improvement and the boys are putting into practice all that the coaches have been asking! It's been great to see. We started slowly but our aggressive on the puck has dramatically improved. The boys are hungry for a win. They know what it takes. 3 periods of heart. And my goodness, have they ever been putting it all out there (I do feel a little bad for the parents because the boys' hockey equipment must be starting to smell - we haven't had much time to dry out the equipment because of all the hockey scheduled and the boys have been sweating like mad :) ).
This is a great group of kids that has formed a true team, celebrating each others successes as if it was their own.
