Strong first game - we'll take the tie
We finally started the select season for major atom, after long tryout sessions, a couple practices the boys were able to show us what they have this afternoon in their first game.
It was evident from the first puck drop that the wolves were hungry the whole game. It was also very clear that the level of play on both sides of the ice was much higher than last year. We need to bring this high level of intensity all year, there is no option for this.
It was a fast paced game and the boys kept clawing until the final buzzer, the coaches are proud of your efforts and there are things we can remind and teach the boys for the next game. We need to keep fighting hard for "our" puck and to trust our linemates will do their assignments on the ice, and will be in the right position.
