Hi Hawks and Parents
We had a very successful game last weekend. I saw a lot of positive things on the ice and the bench.The kids are bonding as a team and being very supportive of each other. That's what makes a great team.
Hopefully we will continue to play as a team this weekend. The goal is to always try your best and most importantly have fun.
Reminder that it is picture day this Saturday Nov 12th. Kids are to be dressed and ready for pictures by 1030 am sharp. After pictures we have a game at 1100.
Jack Bauer's mom(Jackie) has taken the initiative to look for prices to get names on the jerseys. For all those interested it will be $3.50 each. If we can collect all the jerseys after Sundays game they will be ready for the following weekend games.
Finally I would like to ask all the kids to think of players on our team that they want to elect as team captains. I would like to have one captain and two assistants. These players are the ones that demonstrate leadership not only on the ice but on the bench and in the dressing room. After we hear from the kids the coaches will make the final decisions. Parents you can email your kids picks to make it easier.
