When Jack Nicklaus, perhaps the best golfer ever, was in his prime, he started
each season by reviewing grip, stance, etc with his coach.
In hockey, no matter what level players are at, its also important to review the basics.
As such, we will discuss positioning this week and next before our games, with the hope that our players will come away with the idea that
"thinking at all times" while on the ice is even more important than shooting, stickhandling, etc. "Where should I be now" and "getting there fast" will be the theme.
"Always thinking" is not easy, but it makes the biggest difference in outcome.
