Congratulations
to Max for being awarded the “Golden Jersey” this week.
This week the hustle was back and the coaches were all happy with the way the team competed. The boys worked hard to get a two goal lead going into the third period. Unfortunately a few bad breaks meant that we couldn’t hold onto the lead and ended up losing 4-2.
Going into the Christmas Holidays the coaches have challenged each of the boys to practice their shooting by taking 100 shots (or more) each day. They will get a ballot in a draw for each time they take 100 shots a day between now and December 30th. We’ll hold a draw for a small prize after that time.
Our “Golden Jersey” winner this week could have been awarded the jersey for his effort in many of our other games. This week Max worked hard and made sure to get pucks to the net. His enthusiasm on the ice was motivating for the whole team. Keep up the great effort Max!
