The “Golden
Jersey” for this week was awarded to Jay for his steady defense and for showing
some offensive skills too.
Game seven of the season marks the point at which our team has played every other team in the league. This week we got off to a quick start going up 2-0 but then seeing that quickly disappear as the teal team tallied two quick goals. The team pushed back and showed a steady effort for the rest of the game and we managed a win. The boys have played hard in all our games and have shown some real improvement already this season. More passing and positional play will help us continue to improve as the year progresses.
This week “Golden Jersey” award winner was Jay, as seemed to be a unanimous decision by the team. Jay is always steady on the blue-line and able to move the puck away from our net. This week he was also able to find the back of the net twice. Way to go Jay!
