It was a busy weekend of hockey for the
Architects with games on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's game against Team Blue was a close game that ended with a Blue 3-2 victory. The Architects skated hard and had their chances. Matthew P scored his first goal of the season by going to the net and scoring at close range. Max Stratford scored the other goal for the Architects on a breakaway. Matthew P received the Golden Jersey for his excellent offensive output.
Sunday's match was against the very hot Atomc Sharks and the Architects were ready to take care of business. In a very exciting and close fought game, the Architects earned a well deserved 5-5 tie. Max led the offence with a hat trick and Mitchell netted the other 2 goals. The Architects never quit in a back and forth game. A special mention to George's key block shot in the 1st period, a gutsy play that required trainer Dwight Critchleys' attention.
