Wow!

What a Championship game!

End to end action with both teams having great scoring opportunities only to be thwarted by a vigilant goal tender or a post.

First period scoreless and then West Hill pulled ahead in the second period on a beautiful pass to the slot and buried high.

Heading into the 3rd, down 1 - 0, the Wolves showed what they are made over and never gave up, finally tying the score 1/2 way through the third and then pulling ahead 2 -1 with 5 minutes left.

With West Hill calling a time out and then pulling their goalie for the extra attacker, the Wolves bore down and pushed the puck back into the West Hill end and batted a shot out of the air, at the face off circle,  at 89 degrees to the net and put it into the twine to take the wind out of West Hill's sails.

A final slap shot through the 5 hole and the Wolves finally relaxed for the final minute.

Well done gentlemen!  A hard fought and well earned Championship!
