Welcome to the home site of the 2012/2013 Waterloo Minor Peewee MD Ice Wolves.
Overview of Selection process-
· We have roughly 52 players and goalies trying out for 17 spots
· By Friday night September 14th we would like to be down to 30 skaters and 4 goalies
· Half the kids will play in Cambridge on Saturday and half the kids will play in Waterloo on Monday. No releases will be made after either game. We will post who is playing each night on the web-site.
· It is expected that if your child is not playing you come and support the team
· We ask that the kids arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled game time
· On Tuesday September 18th we will have an inter squad game to determine the final roster.
· 2012/2013 MD Ice Wolves team will be posted on line by last name and first initial. This might take up to a couple of hours after we have completed the final ice time. If you do not see your name you have been released to continue your try-out process with the 2001 Waterloo Select team.
· We will call each player on the team sometime on the 19th in preparation for the parent/player meeting Thursday September 20th. Players are expected to attend.
· For those players that do not get selected the evaluation team will be sending out their comments and suggestions for player development at some point over the following weeks.
· If you wish to speak with me directly I will be available 24 hours after the last release by phone or meeting at an agreed upon time or place.
Please keep in mind that the above is just an overview for you to follow along in the selection process. We may alter this plan based on other factors I am not aware of prior to us posting this information.
