The Peewee semi-finals had teams from London and Waterloo joining two Oakville qualifiers
Semi-final 1 had the Oakville Titans up against Waterloo Gibson in the barn burner game of the tournament to date.
The Titans were trailing by one goal with time running out when they pulled their goalie and tied the game with 16 seconds on the clock. In overtime it did not take long to settle as Waterloo picked up the winning goal after just 19 seconds and a 5 – 4 victory.
Semi-final 2 had the Oakville Heat taking on the West London Hawks. The local squad really turned up the” heat” on route to a 6 – 0 victory.
The FSMT Peewee Championship between Oakville Heat and Waterloo Gibson ended up with a 4 – 1 Waterloo win. Tied 1 – 1 midway through the third, Waterloo got the go ahead goal and then potted a couple of insurance markers as Oakville pulled their goalie to try and fight back.
