Wolves unbeaten in five, clawing for playoff spot
Two solid weekends for the Minor Bantam AAA Wolves have resulted in a 5-game unbeaten streak and a record of 6-3-1 in their past ten games.

On December 5th and 6th, the Wolves paid a visit to Steeltown to participate in the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Reebok Classic tournament. A solid team effort resulted in a 3-1 record beating Sault Ste. Marie, Central Ontario and Amherst but losing to the tournament host Bulldogs.

On December 13th, the Wolves outplayed the Kitchener Jr. Rangers and earned an important point on the road in a 1-1 tie. C. Martin had a solid game in net and a howitzer by B. Columbus on the power play tied the game for the Wolves.

The following day, the Wolves hosted the division leading Cambridge Hawks. A packed house watched as the Wolves shut down the league's second most potent offence resulting in a 2-1 win. S. Preisenhammer stole the show in net and T. Ballantyne led the way with two assists. "This was our best team game of the year," said Coach Craig Warren. "It was our commitment to defensive play that won the hockey game," he added.

The Wolves are looking to claw their way into a playoff spot this week as they visit Cambridge and Chatham before the holiday break.
