Wolves Fall to London Green, Beat Kitchener
The Minor Bantam Wolves played a pair of games this week.
On Wednesday, they played London Green. Hyjek gave the Wolves an early lead, capitalizing on a 2 on 1. McBain assisted on the goal. Green tied it up on the power play and capitalized on their opportunities to skate away with a 5-1 victory.
On Sunday, Waterloo played Kitchener Red. Kitchener took the early lead in the first. In the second, Hyjek made a nice pass to Jensen on a 2 on 1 to even the score. Graffi's blast from the point went off the post and in to give the Wolves a one goal lead early in the third. Red quickly responded however to tie the game at two apiece. Lunz made a great pass to Henderson through the neutral zone and Hendy's wrister went in off the left post. The Wolves hung on for the 3-2 victory. Chappelle picked up the win in goal.
The Wolves wrap-up the regular season with next weekend with their final two games.
