Team Effort in Burlington!!!!!
Submitted By Brad Heard on Thursday, November 22, 2012
On Nov. 15th the Mountain Wolves faced the Burlington Bulldogs for their 2nd time this season & returned home victorious.

The little speed demon #88 Ryan Heard started the goal scoring for the Wolves with a quick sneak around the goalie move 8 minutes left in the 2nd period & then 5 holed a break away goal at the 2 minute mark of the 2nd to make it a 2-0 game. Less than 30 seconds later #22 Makhaya Campbell shows the crowd his specialty & hammers it top shelf.

Just over 6 minutes to go in the game, Burlington would score their only goal.  Seconds after the puck dropped at center ice #7 Carver Combe carried the puck into the Bullbogs end & shot it at the goalie's glove to bounce off the rebound to #27 Kayden Curtis-Wolfe who swung the puck around the goalie & planted it in the back of the net.

2:40 left in the game, #14 Owen Yagar, with his always enjoyable to watch skating skills, flew up the ice with the puck & made the perfect pass for the assist of #22 Makhaya Campbell, who did it again, sailed the puck up over the goalie & in the top corner.

With a 4 goal lead & 2 min. to go you might of thought that was going to be the game. Oh no, the boys weren't done yet. The heavy digging #44 Tyler O'Hearn made a great shot on net that rebounded to the hard hustling #68 Ethan Hay who buried the final goal of the game.

With both Wolves goalies feeling ill the Bulldogs may have gotten more goals if not for #10 Nolan Romhild constantly getting in the Bulldogs path & awesome defensive skills of #5 Nolan Evans & #77 Bryn Hurl-Loat. The goals & assists wouldn't have been possible without the great effort of all the Wolves players.

Great job boys!
