MD Minor Atom White vs Hamilton Huskies White
Waterloo lost 6 - 2 as they had their hands full trying to contain the surging Hamilton Huskies.

The first period start was fast and furious as both teams scored within the opening minute. The line of Brett Verutis, Andrew Zulawski-Dayeh and Riley Waters teamed up to even the score. Riley carried the puck over the blue line before passing it over to Andrew. Andrew fired the shot on net and watched while Brett deflected the shot.

Late in the second period, Quade Willson strolled up the ice from behind his net. Spectators thought he was floating in mid air as he zipped his way around Hamilton. No one really saw his blistering shot except for Riley Waters who grabbed the rebound and buried the puck with an exclamation point!

Jacob Craig had to step in late in the third, as netminder Cole Matthews was roughed up in front of his net on an unfortunate goal by Hamilton.

Riley Waters grabbed the hardest worker helmet for his two point game with a goal and an assist (and an eagle eye).

Solid effort boys. Good luck next weekend as you bring your "A" game back to Hamilton on Saturday.
