The Waterloo Wolves Major Peewee AAA Team had a wonderful run in the playoffs culminating in a hard fought 3-2 win in game 5 against the Chatham-Kent Cyclones. The Cyclones roared to a 2-0 series lead but the Wolves would not be denied and won the next 3 games (5-3, 3-0 and 3-2) to claim the championship. The Wolves started the playoffs by defeating the Huron Perth Lakers 5 points to 1 and then in the semi-finals they beat the Cambridge Hawks 6 points to 0. It was quite a run and a true testament to the character these boys possess. Their playoff and playdown record was an impressive 12-5-2. Just a wonderful year the boys should cherish and be proud of.

All 17 members of the Waterloo Wolves Major Peewee AAA team have decided this year to give rather than to receive. Each player along with their family took part in Operation Christmas Child where they received a "shoe box" and filled it full of toys, books, colouring utensils along with many other items for either a boy or girl. This along with the Food Drive they are taking part in on December 12th shows the understanding these young men have concerning the importance of giving back during the Christmas Season. Well done guys!
