Tough Battle versus Cambridge Hawks
Waterloo Wolves Black met up against Cambridge Hawks last Sunday, playing three good periods of hockey. It was not an easy victory, however, the Wolves earned a 4-2 win, putting them in third in the standings.
Waterloo played some solid hockey against Cambridge; however a few players stood out in this game, making a difference every shift they were on the ice. #7 Williams was at the top of the score card, earning a hat trick with a goal in each period of the game. Quick shots, accurate passes and great positioning allowed Williams to be a dominant force in this game. Honourable mention goes out to #27, Labrie for attacking the puck and stripping it away from the Cambridge forwards, reducing their chances of scoring. Arnold, #68 and Langlois, #88 were a great duo on defence, using their size, speed and strength to clear the zone. Well done Wolves!
