MD Atom White vs Kitchener Jr Rangers Red
Submitted By Mike Willson on Monday, February 20, 2017
The boys lost 2 - 1 to the Jr Rangers despite dominating most of the game.

The team came out very strong and kept Kitchener out of Waterloo's zone throughout the entire period. The team got on the board first as Quade Willson sprung Hunter McMurdo in all alone. Hunter shot high stick side before the netminder had a chance to get set.

In the second, Waterloo stopped Kitchener in the neutral zone allowing few chances for Kitchener to mount a scoring chance. The defense kept the front of the net clear of loose pucks and any Kitchener attack,

Penalty trouble late in the third lead to a tie game and then the go ahead goal. Waterloo pulled the goalie and had three beautiful opportunities but could not get the puck past the goal line.

Very nice effort boys. Good luck against Kitchener Blue.
