Waterloo Wolves Minor Atom AAA Are Nations Cup Champions, News, Minor Atom, 2016-2017, AAA (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

What a great weekend of hockey celebration in Ann Arbor Michigan!  The Waterloo Wolves Minor Atom AAA along with 7 other Canadian teams went up against their American counterparts with the winning country taking the Nations Cup!    

Waterloo faced teams from Chicago, St. Clair, Saginaw and Cleveland in the round robin going 2-2.  There was some tough competition from the US where our boys matched up well.  

The final game vs he Chicago Fury in the final.  The Wolves came out on top winning 2-1 contributing to the overall win by Canada over the USA.  Way to go boys!

 

We also found time to get in a University Michigan / Michigan State hockey game at Yost Arena.  A terrific arena to watch hockey.  



Now on to the final 3 games of the season and the drive for the playoffs!
