Nations Cup - CANADA WINS!
The 2004 Major Atom AAA Wolves brought home gold medals as part of Team Canada at the '04 Nations Cup in Lansing Michigan this December 5-7!
In the round robin, the AAA Major Atoms went 1-2-1 but battled hard to rise up from a 3-goal deficit that included a sweet tie-maker in the lastminute of the game against the Michigan Icehawks. They ctrl-alt-deleted the Detroit Compuware in the finals, playing in the impressive MUNN arena, home of the Michigan State University Spartans hockey team.
Our team howled their support of their Canadian compatriots as they clinched the final playoff games.. True north pride was evident as all the Canadian teams gathered to cheer, heft the Nations Cup, and sing the national anthem in unison.
The players and coaches also enjoyed travelling to games on the decked-out Challenger team bus. Hockey buddies, high-style transportation, and bringing home the hardware - who could ask for anything more!!!
