TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

- 4 Game Guarantee (2 games on Friday, 2 games Saturday)
- Semi's & Finals on Sunday
- Divisions: U16 (2007) and U18 (2005/2006) AAA Teams
- Cost: $1900 CDN

Waterloo Minor Hockey Association has partnered with EventConnect for the upcoming tournament season as its official and exclusive accommodations provider. EventConnect has worked very closely with the Tournament and local hotels to provide the best options on amenities, value and location. We recommend that teams use the hotels provided through this software as they help support our tournament.

For Team Reps, please do not hesitate to contact the EventConnect Travel Team Coordinators by email via [email protected]. These Coordinators will work with your team to find the best options from the available options once your team is in the accommodations system. Please Note, ALL teams will be notified via email with confirmation of Acceptance by the Tournament Director.

Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament - General Refund Policy

Any team registered and accepted by the WMHA Tournament Committee that withdraws after the registration close date of August 31, 2022 will forfeit their tournament fee(s) paid. 

 

Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament - COVID-19 Tournament Cancellation and Refund Policy

If hockey activity and/or Tournaments are cancelled by the governing body (Alliance Hockey), and/or Waterloo Minor Hockey (WMHA), and/or the city of Waterloo at any point prior to the tournament date due to COVID-19 restrictions, WMHA and/or the credit card vendor will provide refunds for the full amount of the tournament fee(s) paid, less 3% processing fee paid, if paid by credit card. Tournament fee(s) include; deposits, and any tournament fee balances paid to WMHA and/or approved payment vendors (Event Connect), as of the cancellation date.

If tournament fee(s) were received via email transfer ([email protected]), then the refund will be provided back to the sender via email transfer for the total amount paid.

If tournament fee(s) were received via credit card payment (via Event Connect/Stripe), then the refund will be provided back to the card provided for payment for the total amount paid. (less 3% processing fee)

Note: This policy does not cover other reasons for cancellation and/or refund of tournament fee(s) and will default to the current tournament refund policy in place for this WMHA tournament, as listed under "General Tournament Refund Policy".
