This past weekend the Wolves won the prestigious 22 team Big Nickel tournament in Sudbury, Ont with a 5-3 win over Ontario #1 ranked Ajax Pickering Raiders. The Wolves stayed perfect with a 4-0 round robin with wins over the Toronto Nationals, Southern Tier Admirals, New Liskeard Cubs, and Kingston Jr. Gaels. The Wolves dominated the Nats again in the quarter finals taking that 4-1 with a large advantage in shots. Your Wolves hosted the annual September U18AAA Showcase hosting the Sudbury Jr. Wolves, Niagara North Stars and the Markham Majors. The Wolves, just coming together, beat Sudbury and Markham winning both games 6-1 on Saturday. Sunday Markham went home to a 4-1 defeat after a slow Waterloo start. The Wolves look to build on this success continuing their exhibition season with a home and home with the Hamilton Steel.  Wolves Home games are Mondays at 7:30pm at RIM.
