U12, 2022-2023, AAA (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

Finishing second in their pool, the U12 AAA Wolves made it to the quarter final.  There they met the Central Ontario Wolves and captured a shut out winning 1-0.  In the semi-finals they met the London Jr Knights and with lots of action the Wolves finished the Knights 7-4.  In the finals, the Wolves met Southern Tier Admirals, a tough competitor they met in the round robin.  The Wolves were up 2-1 after the first period, but STA came back hard on some powerplays and had four more goals.  Final score was 5-2 for STA.  A great team effort by the Wolves for the weekend!

The U12 AAA Wolves hosted a "Wolves Give Back" event collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.  In total the team collected 175 lbs of food and $75.  175lbs of food equates to 119 meals - great work team! A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event!
