Minor Midget AA Tryouts
Welcome to the tryouts for the 2018/19 Waterloo Wolves Minor Midget team.Tryouts have been structured to allow all players to

demonstrate their hockey abilities.  At this age and level of hockey, players should have a strong grasp of basic skills and hockey-related abilities.  By scheduling games instead of drills, we will be able to assess their abilities, skills and compete level in game situations.  Unless otherwise indicated or required (player’s safety), no releases will be made prior to August 24th.  As a staff, we will be assessing, among other things:
1) Intensity and compete-level
2) Hockey skills
3) Hockey IQ
4) Attitude

Players are expected to be at the arena one (1) hour prior to each ice time. Players not dressing for home games are expected to attend; players not dressing for ‘road’ games are not expected to attend - but they are more than welcome to do so.  Their respectful and attentive support is welcome and encouraged from the stands. They may be asked to participate in collecting information during these games. 

Releases will be communicated to the boys as appropriate during the tryout process.  Further, the roster will be updated on the team home-page the following day.  Released players are welcome to contact the coaching staff to schedule a meeting for feedback.
