Novice Select Wolves win streak ends at 6
After shutout wins against Hamilton Chedoke, Halton Hills and Ancaster, the Wolves tried for 7 straight against their cross town rivals, the Kitchener Rangers...

The pace was fast right from the first puck drop, with Deio having to make a very difficult stop early to keep it scoreless.  Finally, with 2:51 remaining in the first period, a nice defensive play from Ryan T put the puck on Lucas T’s stick, who in turn hit Callum T with a pass at center.  Callum T put on his burners and afterburners to get past both defensemen for a breakaway goal.  The Rangers would answer with a breakaway goal themselves early in the second period, and managed another before the end. Joshua C had a solid showing in net in the second half of the game.  The Rangers would add another in the third period, and despite intense offensive pressure, the Wolves were unable to respond.  The boys should be very happy with their play tonight!    The player of the game went to Alec L who had his best showing of the season by giving 100% every shift.  The boys are showing improvement every game, and the coaching staff is excited to see how far they can go - there is plenty of time left for them to improve even more.
