Novice Select Wolves make it 3 in a row and get an on-ice visit from Santa!
The boys from Waterloo managed decisive wins against St. Thomas
and Cambridge. In both games the boys
controlled the pace and played with class.
The player of the game for the St. Thomas match went to River V. for his
solid defense, as well as a goal from the point. The player of the game for the Cambridge match
went to Caden B. for his excellent passing and positioning...
Tonight the boys were met on the ice for their practice by none other than Santa Claus himself. Santa, apparently quite adept at running hockey practices, put the boys through a series of fun filled drills including: the sleigh ride, the present pass relay and pin the candy cane on the goalie. After practice, the boys were treated to a party complete with candy, hot chocolate and stockings filled with goodies handed out by the Novice Select Elves. A big thanks to Santa for running the Christmas practice (many boys noticed a glaring similarity between Santa and Coach Marc!) Also a big thank you to Jane, Andrea and Laura for organizing the party and putting the stockings together!
