40+ Wins and Clinched a Spot in Playdowns
Novice Gold picked up 2 shutout wins on the weekend to break the 40 win barrier and clinch a play down spot.

The Wolves had a 6-0 win versus Brantford on Saturday and a 4-0 win versus Burlington on Sunday.  In both games, the Wolves controlled the play from the start but looked a bit sluggish in the first periods.  However, the team defense was solid and patient in both games.  Eventually, the offense would start rolling in the second and put the games out of reach in the third.

The win versus Brantford gave the Wolves their 40th win on the season while the win versus Burlington clinched at least 4th place in the playoff round and a ticket to playdowns.

The Wolves have three games next weekend with their magic number to clinch first place now at 4.
