3rd Tournament Championship of the Season
The Waterloo Wolves Minor Peewee AA/A team earned another Championship at the Toronto Aeros AA tournament this past weekend with a solid team effort the entire tournament.
The Wolves went 1-1 on Friday with a 2-1 late game loss to the Aurora Tigers AA team and a 3-1 victory over the host Toronto Aeros AA. On Saturday they beat the Providence Rhode Island Friars AAA team 4-0 before losing 3-1 to the Markham Waxers AA team.
Tie breakers allowed them to advance and the Wolves avenged their earlier loss to the Aurora Tigers AA team with a complete team effort to win 1-0 in overtime. Congratulations to the boys for winning 3 out of 4 tournaments this season!
