Successful Food Drive
At our home game on
December 6th, the Waterloo Wolves Minor Peewee AA/A team partnered
with the London Mustangs (White) team on a food drive in support of the
FoodBank of Waterloo Region. Through the generous donations of BOTH teams, their families,
friends and the sponsors of the Waterloo Wolves Minor Peewee AA/A team we were
able to collect and deliver almost 1200 pounds of food donations which will be
a great help in making the holiday season better for many local families.
We would like to acknowledge and thank the London Mustangs (White) team and their families for their huge contribution and support of this effort. It is great to see these young men compete on the ice, but partner off of it in support of community efforts.
