Regular Season Wrap Up
The winter months held a mix of struggles and opportunities for the Wolves.
In divisional play the boys showed that they can compete with any team in the league, winning many periods of play but struggling to take games. The mid game lapses mixed in with multiple penalty games often created the difference on the scoreboard. Most games played have been separated by only one goal showing that we are right there in every matchup, often playing stronger games versus top divisional teams.
On the tournament circuit the boys played against some new teams and similarly had close calls in most of their games, their only big goal differential loss coming against one of the top ranked teams in Ontario.
The boys closed out the regular season with three of four games facing the top teams in the division. A good test to show the pace they'll need to take into the post-season to continue moving forward.
The boys kickoff the post-season against London Gold on Thurs Feb 14th in London.
