100% for 3 Periods
The Ice Wolves travelled to the Hammer and took the Cyclones winning 6-4 and what was a thrilling last 6 minutes of Ice Wolves hockey. Waterloo started strong as David Parker deked his way through the Cyclone D and let loose a dandy backhand which found all net as Waterloo took the lead for good
Owen Fenton's wrist shot went top shelf to give the Ice Wolves a 2-0 lead. David Parker and Kevin Gruber earned the assists. 1 minute later, Colton Tucker banged in a rebound off of Alex Cronin's shot to increase the lead to 3. Daniel Bosomworth stood tall and with the help of a few posts was able to keep Hamilton off the board. Fenton then added another goal off of Colin Kim's shot and Cameron Young's cannon made it a 5-0. Cole Schirrmacher and Ben Tomka assisted on the Younger goal. With less than a minute to go, Connor Olsen made it a 6-0 game going into the final period. The game went end to end and as the 5 minute mark approched, Hamilton got fire and was able to score 4 goals, but it was not enough as the Ice Wolves held on and now face the Kitchener Red Rangers.
