Ice Wolves tame the Tigers
The Waterloo Atom Ice Wolves played host to the Hamilton Tigers over the weekend and came out on top with a 4-1 victory in the Alliance Tier 1 Play-offs. Constant pressure and a strong defense resulted in all 4 goals as the Ice Wolves took control on goals from David Parker, Owen Fenton, Colton Tucker and Nathan Mrakava. Kevin Gruber earned 2 assists while Fenton, Parker, Connor Olsen, Cameron Young and Ben Tomka had singles. Zack Jansen stood on his head to help preserve the victory. The Ice Wolves now faces the Cyclones in next weeks game.
