In the Round Robin games, Waterloo was undefeated with 2 wins and 1 tie putting them into 1st place and a game against the Stratford Warriors.
The game went back and forth until Kevin Gruber found Connor Olsen high in the slot and Olsen let go a missle which found the back of the net and gave Waterloo the lead as Waterloo advanced to the Championship game 4-2.
In the Championship game, Waterloo struck first as Nathan Mrakava grabbed Justin Beyers' shot off the boards and slipped the puck past the Hamilton goalie. Hamilton tied it up in the 2nd period and with less than 5 minutes left in the game, Gruber connected with Olsen again and Waterloo took the lead for good
