Cubs Have a Blast at the Canadian Tire Cup!
The Cubs had their first taste of tournament action this past Sunday in Hanover!
The Cubs played in 3 games on Sunday against teams from Wasaga Beach, Penetanguishene and Twin Centre.
In their first game against Wasaga, the boys lost a high scoring affair by score of 8-4. The scorers for the Cubs were Kadin Pushka-Kocher with one goal and Sam Hodson with the Hat-Trick!!!
In the second game against our neighbours in Wellesley representing Twin Centres, the Cubs came out firing winning 7-5!! There was not just one, but two hat-tricks in this game!! Both Ben St.Pierre and Sam Hodson (again), scored 3 goals apiece. Kadin contributed again with a single to round out the scoring.
In the third and final game, the Cubs had more of a defensive battle with a squad from Penetanguishene, losing 3-1. Sam Hodson was the lone goal-sccorer for the Cubs.
Overall, the boys and coaching staff had a great time.
