Meeting Glen from One 4 Another International to present money raised by the young Wolves and to hear first hand the impact they are having on young lives in Uganda....
The Wolves were treated to meeting with Glen from One4Another who shares stories about being in Uganda and the challenges young children have with health issues.
One4Another is a great charity that provides health care through funding a hospital in Uganda to support the local people. There are Doctors, nurses and support people there but rely on support from great leaders, like our Wolves players to help them out.
With the total funds that were raised, the young Wolves are able to support Abdul's full surgery on both feet and support, additionally being able to support a 6 month old Baby Pooka with his recovery and medical attention and lastly, staple supplies that will provide 3 months worth of food, spices and other staples to keep their belly's full.
These young players are certainly the future of our community and we are honoured to be witnesses of their amazing work on and off the ice!
