Raking for Hamidu
On Saturday October the 26th, the AA/A Major Atom Wolves got together to rake leaves, finishing their fundraising endeavor to help their honorary teammate Hamidu.
Hamidu is a 10 year old boy from Uganda who had an untreated left clubfoot. Thanks to the selfless and hardworking efforts from the boys, as well as the kindness and generosity of family, friends and neighbors, the Wolves were able to raise the necessary funds to pay for Hamidu's surgery and treatment.
Hamidu has had his surgery and is recovering well.
The Wolves were proud to take part in the 18th Man Project, partnering with One 4 Another International.
Fantastic job boys! You can put that in the W column as a huge Win for the team, as well as a giant Win in life. Way to make a difference!
