These young Wolves were able to raise enough funds through a bottle drive to support our 18th Man....FRANCO!
Franco lives in Uganda and was born with two club feet. He has not been able to get treatment due to his parents not able to afford it. Without treatment, Franco will not be able to play soccer, which he loves very much, run, jump or be a typical kid.
Franco is one out of six kids and lives with both parents. They are a peasant family and survive off of what they can grow in their garden. Just to put their lives in context...their primary challenge as a family is hunger. Everything else comes second...
With these funds, that our Wolves have worked hard at raising, through the support of our neighbors and community, Franco has started his pre operation castings and will have his surgery very soon.
